  4. If you still have that 15x12 DD Commander coil I can take it off your hands at the first hunt or second hunt  Thanks   Glenn

  6. This is great advice! I too have only been on four hunts. I was finally able to actually completely relax at the last Jackson's Camp hunt. Try to be like Chevy Chase on the putting green in Caddy Shack. nananananananananaaaaa

  8. The more you treat it, the worse it gets. I see a Deus in my near future. I keep telling myself just one more and I wont need another. Yea........right
  9. Sweet!!! Glenn Otto
  10. I am already there. Used the 4500 at the Excelsior camp and Jackson's camp. There is no turning back. I see Choppadude has crossed over as well. --Glenn
  11. Wholeheartedly agree
  12. I love my CTX, but you wouldn't think that if you saw it. The shaft is scratched, the screen has hairline scratches all over and the housing is stained with ground in dirt that will not come off. She gets rode hard and put away wet. Not planning on ever trading it in though, so she's still beautiful to me. Even though I said in my previous post that she was staying home, we will see when the time comes if I can actually go through with it--Glenn
  13. In my opinion, the CTX is useless in hot dirt. I've tried it twice in red dirt on the last four hunts and lasted about 30 minutes a hunt. The last hunt it stayed in the hotel room. On this hunt, it will stay at home. I know James said the dirt on this hunt will range from bad to OK and it is not red dirt. Maybe the CTX will work on this hunt. I might not be so critical and quick to leave my CTX at home, if I had not auctioned off my right testicle for a GPX (the CTX cost me my left one). That CTX has been gettin' a little cocky lately, so some time in the closet while the other detectors go outside to play will let it know how they have been feeling most of the time.
