change of plans, my friend Doug and I will actually be staying at Best Western not Red Roof Inn.

I'm staying at Red Roof Inm the following week for the Jacksons Camp hunt. So I should arrive by 6:15-6:30 AM. Hope the ground is not too frozen that you need a jack hammer to dig! Lol

Ok, I'll be at the BW just before 7.  I'll send you a text when I'm a few minutes out, it's 20 minutes to the dig site, plenty of time.

  10. Actually I have rescued the city from aluminum screw on bottle caps. Also got a bunch of coins including some old ones, have to clean them up to find the dates.
  11. It's 19 degrees outside, tomorrow will be worse, and we're getting all the snow in the world on Tuesday. So I'm going into the CITY detecting when it warms up to 28 in a little while. Oh well, gotta go while you can. Got 23 coins down there last Sunday in 2 hours. Place is polluted with coins and it's been hammered in the past. Got one 1865 Indian cent, very readable, a 1945-S silver war nickel and 1923 buffalo with full date. Also got my first Liberty standing quarter the other day, 2 mercs and a 1781 KG III cent. (KGIII from another spot).

  15. I cannot possibly have a better 18 months of digging. Just not going to happen. Four CW belt plates, a Rev War belt plate, 60 plus CW buttons, 100 plus CW bullets from 3 states, about 20 colonial coppers, several reales, cannon balls, colonial buttons, nothing 1812, must be slipping up, bust and seated dimes,Indian head cents and buffalo nickel, just one, two diamond rings, two other gold rings, more gold, silver jewelry and over 5 pounds of clad. No, can't do any better. I think it's because I'm old and slow and don't rush through a site. And dig a lot of iffy targets.
